About Us

Dovetail Civil Design, Inc. was founded in 2008 by former teammates of a large national design firm. We wanted to combine the resources of a large corporation with the customer service of a small local business. Our strong work ethic and streamlined technology combined with a "whatever-it-takes" attitude have fortified our strong Client relationships.

The quality of our products and service have led to continous growth since we first opened our doors several years ago. Thanks to our loyal support, those doors now hang on a beautiful new building. In the Summer of 2015, we moved into The Summit, a developing office complex between Athens and Lawrenceville. Our new facility was custom-built and personally designed by us. The building layout centralizes around an impressive design studio which will help us create engineering projects with maximum efficiency. This provides a fun, harmonic, work environment and even more success for our Clients.
